WISH has been housing interns, students and teachers in Washington, DC since the year 2000, and its founders have been hosting interns since 1990. When you are our guest, you will stay at one of our many Capitol Hill
housing locations that make it easy for you to walk to the National Mall, the Congress,
the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, and of course, the museums and art
galleries. All WISH locations are Metro accessable. See our map for locations
WISH has several intern housing locations in NE Washington, including The Congressional, and our newest location in Woodley Park, two blocks from the Woodley Park Metro and the National Zoo.
You'll meet other interns and students from around the world including England,
Scotland, Australia, China, Japan, Poland, Kenya and just about all 50 states who
share your interests in Political Science and Public Policy, International Relations,
Law, Medicine, Journalism, Business and the Arts.
Great friendships have developed among our interns and many come back to stay
